Reminder to all officials - proper ear guards must be worn by all on-ice officials effective the start of the 2003 - 2004 hockey season. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary actions.
Policies in place for Edmonton "A" program officials

Must show up at all games 30 minutes before scheduled game time.

No jeans No hats.

All cancellations must be called into the appropriate assignor a minimum of 48 hours before game time.

All officials must follow the Code of Ethics laid out by Canadian Hockey Officiating Program

For all "A" hockey in Edmonton, when one or more officials are not at the game, one of the officials in attendance must call the assignor within 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action against the offending officials.
Policies for Senior Program in the North Zone

All officials must arrive at arena at least 30 minutes prior to game time. (45 minutes for AJHL)

Must dress appropriately for the league.

Linesmen must phone the Referee 48 hours before scheduled game time.

Referee must call assignor 24 hours before scheduled game time if linesman has not called them.

All officials must follow the Code of Ethics laid out by Canadian Hockey Officiating Program
