What is the Referee Development Camp?The Referee Development Camp is run in conjunction with the Female U16 Program of Excellence each year. Officials from across the province are eligible to participate over a four (4) day long development camp. Instructors will take the participants through referee procedures, techniques and positioning, power skating, off-ice training sessions, fitness testing, classroom sessions that includes nutrition, opportunities for officials, cross training strategies, etc. Who Can Attend?Any registered official in good standing who is18 years of age or older is eligible to attend. The selection process is not focused on elite athletes, but rather on officials who will take what they have learned and give back to the program.
