Reclassification Procedure

Reclassification

Those officials that want to reclassify to a higher level, must apply to the North Zone Referees' Committee. Reclassification for the 2009-10 season is now complete.

If you wish to be reclassified to a level 3 or 4, for the 2010-11 season, the deadline is January 1, 2010.

Your application should include:

Full name
New level requested
Years at current level
Address
Phone number
The calibre of hockey you officiated both as a referee, and as a linesman.
Off-ice contributions to the program.
Why you feel you are qualified for the level.
Letter of reference from your Local RIC or assignor.
Copy of at least one supervision.

Once you application is complete, forward to the Zone Chairman.
