The North Zone Referees Committee takes the conduct and competency of our officials seriously. We expect all North Zone officials to follow the Code of Ethics laid out by the Canada Hockey Officiating Program at all times, on and off the ice.

If a complaint is filed through the proper complaint process as laid out here, the Discipline Chairman will investigate the complaint and take the appropriate action. This action may involve no action (if the
complaint is unwarranted), additional coaching or supervisions, verbal or written warnings, letters of apology, fines or suspensions.
The North Zone executive may also initiate their own discipline investigation if it is believed an official has violated the Code of Ethics or has conducted themselves in a way that is detrimental to the North Zone.
